Purpose of Establishing a Personal Information Protection Management System

The Company, in order to remain a trusted business partner as a company engaged in internet business, and further, in order for each employee to fully recognize the importance of protecting the personal information of its customers, members, and employees and to commit to such protection as an entire organization, hereby declares that it establishes the following Personal Information Protection Policy and commits to activities for personal information protection, including the development, observance, and improvement of a Personal Information Protection Management System.

In the internet information society, the Company is engaged in business to serve as a bridge between information providers and recipients, with the aim of enriching and improving people’s lives. In the course of this business, the Company handles information, primarily information received from its customers. To this end, from the perspective of personal information protection, the Company commits to the following:

1. Acquisition, Use, and Provision of Personal Information
The Company clarifies the purposes of acquisition, use, and provision with respect to the personal information of its customers and the personal information of its employees, and takes measures to prevent use beyond those purposes. In addition, the Company appropriately manages such information under its own responsibility, including the management of subcontractors that handle such information.

2. Implementation of Information Security
The Company invests appropriate management resources and establishes a reasonable security framework in order to avoid risks such as unauthorized access, loss, destruction, falsification, and leakage of personal information, and endeavors to prevent and remedy such risks.

3. Compliance with Laws and Standards
The Company identifies and complies with laws relating to the protection of personal information, as well as other laws, ordinances, directives, guidelines, and standards applicable to internet business, and applies them to its Management System.

4. Establishment of a Personal Information Protection Framework and Continuous Improvement
The Company continuously reviews the Management System established based on this Policy, regularly conducts training sessions and other programs, raises employee awareness, and pursues continuous improvement.

5. Respect for the Rights of Individuals
The Company designates a manager responsible for the handling of personal information and establishes a system for responding to requests for disclosure, correction, deletion, and notification of the purpose of use, as well as other inquiries regarding personal information. The Company responds to such requests appropriately in light of generally accepted social norms and practices.

6. Response to Complaints and Consultations
The Company designates a contact point for complaints and consultations, and responds to them appropriately.
